Discover your own hidden wisdom and strength

No matter what grief or struggle has caused you to look for a therapist, know that the answers you seek already lie within you, within your capacity to illuminate the darkness of your own being. Could it be that your problems or your symptoms are meaningful? Might your struggle to overcome the trial that calls you into therapy be a catalyst that leads you to a higher state of being? Through psychotherapy, you can encounter your own inner wisdom; you can discover answers to your life’s questions and become the person you were born to be.

Psychotherapy is a collaborative process that, in order to be effective, requires willingness to explore the possibility that the true, lasting solution to life’s problems may point toward a need to make personal changes, at times even when those problems appear in the form of symptoms or illness. This may necessitate exploration of areas or aspects of oneself that might feel very uncomfortable to see or to reveal to others – at least in the beginning. Often we feel as if the only way to solve our problems is to require change from those around us or else we think we have to change who we surround ourselves with. Is this you? Have you discovered, over and over, that struggling to control others or changing where and with whom you spend time only brings disappointment and new versions of the same old problems?

I offer a safe and mutually respectful space to explore the dark spaces of your psyche where answers to your eternal questions may lie waiting for you to find them. My training and experience enables me to help you discover your own hidden wisdom and strength, to find the new approach or the new attitude that can give you the inner peace of mind to deal with whatever life brings your way.
